Scholarship Program
Taag Studios and Art Expressions is pleased to offer scholarships for kids whose families would otherwise not be able to afford art classes. Please contact the office at (319) 855-4755 if you would like to apply for either a full or partial scholarship for your child(ren). Scholarships cover all materials needed to complete art classes.

Welcome to Taag Studios!
Taag Studios & Gallery is a community of creative individuals, built by and for Iowa City artists. Our goal is to support one another through peer reviews and discussion of each artist’s portfolio, while maintaining a nurturing and open space for artistic practice, education and presentation. We also offer classes in a variety of media, studio space, and a gallery for in-house and other artists.
Our Classes
We offer classes for children, teens and adults. Regardless of starting skill level, our artists will teach you the techniques and media to set your imagination loose!
Studio Space
Are you an artist in the Iowa City area? We want you in our studios! Taag has spacious, affordable studios and a welcoming, creative community. Please contact us today for more lease information.
The Gallery
Taag Gallery features fine art from local and national artists. There is something for everyone in the gallery; oil paintings, charcoal, acrylics and mixed media. We also feature sculptures and a few selected antiques ranging in style from the classical to high-abstract.
